Terms and Conditions

1. Open to the following categories
1. Individuals: Permanent Residents of Malaysia (PTM) and Malaysian Citizens of Malaysia (MAL) aged 18 and above.
2. Business / Company: Registered Business / Company.
3. Professional Organizations, Cooperatives And Bodies: Only allowed to those who already have records in the MySIKAP System
4. Government Agencies / Local Authorities / Statutory Bodies / United Nations / Embassies / High Commission Offices / International Organizations / Regional Offices: are only allowed to those who already have records in the MySIKAP System.
5. Non-citizens: only allowed to those who already have records in MySIKAP System. The latest passport serial number will need to be updated by the passport owner if the previous passport expiry date expires at any State office and JPJ branch except UTC.
2. Individuals / Businesses / Companies that do not have any records or transactions in the JPJ, must verify and create records in the State and JPJ branches except UTC nearby OR;
3. Individuals / Businesses / Companies who have a record or transaction in JPJ can continue to browse the mymotornumber portal to register as a bidder.
4. Individuals / Businesses / Companies who have registered at the JPJ Counter need to verify on the registered e-mail before signing up as an offer on the mymotornumber portal.
5. Non-citizens / Organization / Co-operative / Professional Agency / Government Agency / Local Authority / Semi Government Agency / United Nations / Embassy / High Commissioner’s Office / International Organization / Regional Offices without a record are not available to create a new registration for mymotornumber.
6. Only phone number renewal information can be updated in the mymotornumber user profile menu. If there is a change in other personal information, users need to go to the State office and JPJ branch except UTC to update the information.
7. All transactions on the payment of the fee or the bill are using a local credit card / local debit card (Malaysia Issuer) only.
8. The registration process of the registration number will be opened for five (5) days or any period set by the government. Bids time taken into consideration during bids period and not valid to bank bids payment time. Only successful transactions and payment within the bidding period will be accepted as valid bids.
9. Bids that have been made cannot be canceled.
10. There is no limit to bid. However, each bidder category has the limit of qualification to be the winner. Here are the limits to becoming a winner by bidding category:

11. RM 10.00 will be charged as a service charge for each bidding registration number. The fee is Government revenue and will not be refunded.
12. The bid payment to be made must agree with the minimum bid price and minimum increment of the bid from minimum price according to the category as in the table below:

13. For successful bidders, the bid amount will be deducted from the bidder’s credit card immediately.
14. For unsuccessful bidders, cancellation of transactions by the bank and the payment settlement will be credited back to the bidder’s credit / debit card within 5 to 7 working days depending on the issuer bank (issuer) of the credit / debit card. No charges will apply.
15. The official bidding results will be issued within 30 minutes after the bidding ends. The official decision announced is final.
16. The government shall not be liable for any transactions involving a credit card / debit card made by the bidder.
17. You are advice to bids earlier for ensuring process run smoothly. Avoid last minutes bids for avoiding payment interruption.
18. Registration of the winning vehicle number can be made at JPJ offices and branches and the validity period of the Registration number is 12 months from the date of issuance of the Successful Bidding Result Letter. If the registration number of the vehicle fails to be registered within the given period, the number will be withdrawn without any notice. Payment made will NOT be refunded and become Government revenue.
19. Application for extended registration period for registration number won is NOT allowed.
20. The vehicle number that was won can be named changed to immediate family member such as parents / spouse / siblings / child only with consideration by submitting the birth certificate, marriage certificate and other related documents. While the number of vehicles to be won by company CANNOT be renamed before being registered to the vehicle.
21. JPJ have the right to revise these Terms and Condition at any time without providing notice to you. Your continued use of the mymotornumber Portal, shall be deemed irrevocable acceptance of these Terms and condition of Service and any such revisions.
22. JPJ reserve the right at all times, at our sole discretion, to change, upgrade, modify, suspend, limit or discontinue any portion of this Portal or the Services or any of our related functions or applications, including payment methods, temporarily or permanently, without notice to you or giving any reason. We may release certain Services which may not work correctly or in the same way the final version may work, and we shall not be held liable in such instances. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts of, or the entire, Portal or Services in our sole discretion and without notice or liability.
23. JPJ reserve the right to refuse to provide you access to the Platform or Services or to allow you to open an Account for any reason.
24. If there is a dispute over the bidding decision between the bidders, JPJ reserves the right to withhold and postpone any decision and registration of the vehicle number until the investigation is completed.
25. Every eligible individual / Business / Company/ Non-citizens / Organization / Co-operative / Professional Agency / Government Agency / Local Authority / Semi Government Agency / United Nations / Embassy / High Commissioner’s Office / International Organization / Regional Offices must provide the correct information as any person who furnishes false, false or misleading information is an offense under Section 108 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 which may lead to penalties not less than RM5,000 and not exceeding RM20,000 or imprisonment for a term not less than one (1) year and not exceeding five (5) years.
